DogMateOnline is promoted by Ishita Sukhadwala and Robina Gupta. Ishita is a London based consultant with experience in the areas of marketing, IT and Business Development. Robina is a Bombay based film maker with management background.

The idea for DogMateOnline came about out of necessity more than anything else. In June 2008, during a family vacation, Ishita's cousin spoke of the difficulty she was having finding a mate for her six year old Doberman, Rocky.

Rocky was the handsomest, most well behaved stud around. Although everyone was sure that an appropriate mate would definitely fall prey to Rocky's gentlemanly charms, how to find one suitable? Internet search began for a dedicated site for dog owners looking for a mate for their dog but nothing obvious surfaced. Hence, the birth of DogMateOline. Robina came up with the idea and Ishita executed it.

Sadly, Rocky passed away before an appropriate mate could be found. What could not be done for Rocky, Ishita and Robina want to do for other dog owners and their babies.

Therefore, this website is dedicated to Rocky Kamble. Rocky rocked and we are sure that he is rocking even now, wherever he is.

Ishita is also promoter of Verdurez, a social networking website for senior Indians. The site is for people of Indian origin, aged 55 years and above, living in India and abroad and aims to help them network with like-minded people, to help them lead a more enriched life and to help them keep pace with the fast changing world around them.
